1st Rap:
Once in the military it was my turn for the night shift.
It’s boring more than I thought
The Major League was going on that night, and it grabbed my heart to sneak out and watch my star, Chien-Ming Wang’s fight.

Some lame guy reported this to my superior, which makes I ended up punished standing the morning to come.
A letter of repentance I had to write,
to say I’m sorry I was wrong I apologize.

1st Pre-Chorus:
Oh what age it is to write this kind of letter,
those who write it never think it’ll matter.
Everybody knows in his heart, that it doesn’t change one’s nature,
that those who repent never make this error.

Yet I wrote down with my stomach filled with beer!

1st Chorus:
A guy with his head full of knowledge,
but doesn’t possess noblesse oblige,
he will become the parasite who causes the society collapse.
I’m ashamed in front of my family and country,
I’m guilty.

2nd Rap:
Once the sergeant read my repentance letter,
he was so moved that he said to me with a smile.
He said that I have completely self-examined myself,
in order to restart my life.

That I have changed my heart and soul,
that I’m the person everyone should learn from.
Strange enough it was for me, to become the new generation’s model.

2nd Pre-Chorus:
It’s nothing for me to write a repentance letter,
like a legless mantis overrun by my mighty chariot.
To me all the ancient classics sound familiar,
a couple of sentences from them and truth knocks at my door.
